William Howard

William D. Howard has had a long and varied life experience. He was born in Fernandina Beach, Florida, before moving with his family to a small town in east Texas, where he lived until the sixth grade. Next, his family relocated back to Fernandina Beach, where William remained until young adulthood. William was raised by wonderful Christian parents—the two finest people he’s ever known.

William reached young adulthood during the radical 1960s and 1970s and was caught up in the youth rebellion of the day. In 1970, he took his first trip to Europe, backpacking and traveling as far east as Turkey. On one occasion, he even slept in a cave on the island of Crete. After returning from this adventure, William got serious about his education. He attended the University of South Florida in the early 1970s, earning a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. In the mid-1970s, he resumed his education, earning a certification in social studies at David Lipscomb College.

After returning home to Florida, William worked for the State of Florida as a social worker and later as a psychological evaluator for a private institution that provided work training for adults with intellectual disabilities. In 1977, he began his long career as a teacher and eventually as an adjunct professor in Jacksonville. He taught advanced courses in American, European, and world history, as well as philosophy, psychology, sociology, and world religion. While working full-time as a high school teacher, he earned his master’s degree at Jacksonville University and began teaching night courses in history at the local community college. His academic career never really stopped.

William continues to be an avid reader of history, philosophy, and religious studies. One of his main pastimes has been world travel throughout Europe, Central America, South America, Mexico, Turkey, Canada, and Iceland. In total, he’s traveled to more than 40 countries. William has made use of his travel experiences by serving as a guest commentator on both radio and television. He’s also published numerous essays on many topics, including religion, philosophy, history, and modern politics. His essays have been published on national websites such as American Thinker, Narrow Path Ministries, LifeSiteNews, Intellectual Conservative, Christian Bible Teacher, and the Florida Times-Union. Most importantly, William has been a practicing Christian in an evangelical church for more than 60 years. May God be praised.

HIS GOAL FOR AMERICA’S COMING DARK AGE

William believes that Jesus Christ is the only perfectly true, complete, effective, and lasting answer for the problems of human existence in a fallen world. He wrote America’s Coming Dark Age as one believer encouraging others not to give up but to hold tight to the one true savior. He also intends for the book to shine a light on the Christian message and attract nonbelievers to accept the many blessings offered by belief in Jesus Christ.

William needs Ambassador’s publishing skills and support to promote the book. One of the reasons he chose to publish with Ambassador is their long track record of promoting the Christian message successfully. He also appreciates the honesty and sincerity demonstrated by the publisher and the Ambassador staff during his communications.
